What factors influence skin regeneration?

Natural results of skin aging are wrinkles and less firm skin in the places we care the most – around eyes or on cheeks. Proper care of skin with age i.e. proper regeneration is of a great significance. Blood platelets in tissues play an important role in the regeneration process. They contain growth factors released upon platelets’ activation and cooperate in the regeneration and healing processes, constituting an important regulating factor. Therefore the GPS III System is being used to prepare blood platelets and growth factors concentrate, which is applied into the affected tissue to accelerates natural healing processes.

What is the role of the GPS III System?

The GPS III System consists in blood platelets separation and obtaining of PRP (Platelet Rich Plazma), which accelerates soft tissues regeneration. The GPS III System is used to prepare blood platelets concentrate from small volume (max. 54 ml) of the patient’s blood. This innovative method allows for nine-fold concentration and obtaining more than 90% blood platelets.

What does the treatment with GPS III System look like?

The treatment with the use of GPS III system lasts about 20 minutes. A physician collects blood, which is then spin in a specific device. Obtained platelet rich plasma (nine-fold concentration) may be used for mesotherapy or combine it with fatty tissue collected at the earlier stage to fill wrinkles. Combination of platelet rich plasma with own fat ensures the best adaptation of fatty tissue on site and minimizes the risk of its absorption upon administration.

What treatments may be performed with the use of platelet rich plasma (PRP)?

Facial and head skin mesotherapy with platelet rich plasma. It is recommended to perform three sessions to obtain the best results during head skin mesotherapy The second treatment may be performed upon 3 months from the first one, whereas the third one after one year from the latter.
