Which tattoos can be removed?
The easiest to remove are the red and dark-colored tattoos (black, dark blue, brown and purple). They are removed using 1064nm and 532nm wavelength. Nonetheless, other colors, including light blue and green are effectively removed using just the additional MiluLiteC6 tips operating at the 585 and 650 wavelength.
Hyperpigmentation removal
The MedLite C6 laser is a perfect tool for removal of different types of changes in pigmentation, among others lentigines, keratosis, hemosiderine, Becker and Ota/Ito naevus, café-au-lait, melanodermitis and multi-colored tattoos.
Before the treatment
Before the treatment, the physician is conducting an interview with the patient. During the interview, the doctor examines changes and explains the nature of the treatment, as well as informs about its contraindications. Hyperpigmentation removal can be considered a pain-free treatment, however if the patient is sensitive to pain or discomfort we can apply anesthetic. For several days after the treatment the skin sensitivity may be increased. Therefore it is not advised to apply make-up and it is recommended to avoid situations wherein skin can be exposed to injury, nor to use sauna, fitness clubs or sun beds.
