Vibrasat ® Power Liposuction
Liposuction supported with vibrations is an innovative method of surgical removal of fatty tissue. During the procedure, a suction cannula moves quickly in vibration mode, thanks to which, when combining with suction vacuum, it results in microscopic and delicate separation and elimination of fatty tissue. This technique allows for delicate and homogeneous elimination of fat with no damage to surrounding tissues. A physician puts less effort in moving the cannula, thanks to which the procedure is performed in more precise manner.
Is it painful?
The treatment is performed with local anesthetic using a special device, which is perfect for local anesthetics and makes the patient feel no pain. During the treatment the anesthetic agent strongly diluted with salt solution is injected directly into the patient’s tissue. Treatment with local anesthetic is performed using the incisionless method, therefore loss of blood is minimal and correct application causes only small hematomas. This type of anesthetic, called TLA allows to perform 3D liposuction thanks to change of the patient’s position during the treatment. Application of local anesthetic reduces the risk of side effects, such as thrombosis, embolism or nausea. Key advantages of treatment include the patient’s consciousness and no need of anesthetist presence.
What should I do after treatment?
Wearing compression clothing to prevent hematomas and increase tissue healing is necessary for few days after treatment. Clothing does not disturb you in performing daily activities. Follow-up visit is recommended on the first day after treatment. The subsequent visits should be scheduled after 2-3 weeks after treatment. Protective clothing should be worn for at least 2 weeks.
When will I return to full physical activity?
Full physical activity returns after one to few days, however it depends on specific case. Exercising is possible when the patient feels comfortable during exercises.
