Sculptra
As the time goes by, the skin looses its full, firm and young look. This is a result of a natural ageing process. The skin becomes thinner and may relax, which leads to the emergence of wrinkles and furrows. Fatty tissue, which provides full shape of the face also disappears, making the face look narrow and excessively skinny, and additionally makes it look old. Sculptraâ„¢ can help you smooth out deep furrows and wrinkles and restore the lost volume of the skin. It will allow you to restore a naturally looking facial features.
Why does Sculptraâ„¢ stand out?
A person who is considering to undergo a corrective treatment can choose from a wide variety of procedures. Filling agents of temporary effect are often used, but they only fill the wrinkles and furrows on the skin. The durability of the aesthetic effect achieved with the use of individual fillers varies. Permanent implants stay in for many years, however the skin does not put the ageing process on hold.
It is in that respect that the Sculptra™ preparation differs from other solutions available on the market. The Sculptra preparation can be defined as a volumetric agent, because it evens out deep wrinkles and folds and supplements the loss of volume on the face, which results from the ageing process. Sculptra™ is neither a temporary filling agent not a permanent implant. It is a unique substance, the working of which consists in stimulating the patient’s face tissues to produce own collagen, which supplements deficiencies in the skin. This ensures natural effect. The preparation works gradually, restoring whatever has been lost. After a successful implementation of the entire treatment plan, the effects can last for over 2 years.
Why Sculptraâ„¢?
Therapy with the Sculptraâ„¢ preparation is a discrete method, the cosmetic effects of which become visible gradually. Full correction requires 2 or 3 treatments and the very natural effects should be visible after approximately six weeks.
